Heya EQ'ers n' other visitors of DoV! Welcome to the Defenders of V'laar - we're a gaming group that has been in existance since May of 2000. It's been a great haul meeting many great people over the years.
You can find us on the Crushbone server! If looking to contact someone from the guild when in-game, try a /who all defenders query in your chatbox.
To forewarn all potential joiners and newcomers to DoV - we're slackers! Not because we're useless or lazy (well maybe a little bit!) but because we're damn busy. Real life can be a real drag at times!
Gaming is a hobby not a career - if I had my way, yes, I'd switch those two around, but then I'd be broke and not gaming period.
So point to be heard ... if you are here looking for a hardcore raiding guild back your ass up and don't waste our time or your's. If, however, you want to brave our twisted sense of (adult) humor by all means look us up. We welcome all newcomers no matter your alignment and/or level - remember it's a game and about fun. DoV is all about fun!
Finally .. even though it's not officially published in our charter (which, isn't officially published either) - all members of DoV must meet a standard quota (to be defined by my mood) of insulting Iovis. It makes him all warm n' fuzzy!

The site will be experiencing some downtime starting Monday June 23rd. We are being moved to a new server with, hopefully, less server load. Over the past few weeks the site has been moving slower than ever, so, with luck, the site will be loading faster as soon as the transfer is over.
